There are two different cases where the camera can not complete the setup process and gives the audio warning 'Problem'
1. If the camera says 'Problem' and plays a single beep:
This means that it could not find your Wi-Fi network.
This may be because:
- The Wi-Fi is in the wrong frequency band (5 GHz).
- The Wi-Fi router is out of range of the camera.
Since the camera only supports 2.4 GHz networks, switching your phone to a 2.4 GHz network before setup will help identify the Wi-Fi network successfully.
Your router most likely supports 2.4 GHz in addition to 5 GHz and networks have similar names ending with 2_4G, 5G or something similar. Connect your phone to the proper network and run the setup process again.
2. If the camera says 'Problem' and plays 3 beeps in quick succession:
This means that the camera was able to communicate with the Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi is rejecting the connection.
This may be because:
- The Wi-Fi password entered is incorrect.
- The router is in a problematic state and needs a reboot.
- The password is longer than 31 characters or contains atypical characters like emojis.
- The router is actively refusing the connection due to a security setting like MAC filtering.
